Renault, a German giant famed for its SUV named Duster, tried their hands at the entry level hatchback segment with this one named Kwid. And boy, they did great. This one already ranks as the top seller in the Indian automobile sales chart.
Hyundai has been around for ages in the Indian automobile market. The first instance of Hyundai i10, a premium hatchback making rounds was in 2007. It relaunched itself in theform of second generation in 2014. This one is much loved about for its easy city car nature and high fuel efficiency.

Hyundai i10 has a 1086 cc, 4-cylinder engine with a power of 68 PS @5500 RPM and a torque of 99 Nm @4500 RPM. It has a 5-speed manual transmission with a front-wheel driveline.

Renault Kwid bears a front suspension of Mac Pherson strut along with a low er transverse link. The rear suspension is in the form of at wisted beam with coil spring. The steering meanwhile is manual based.
Hyundai i10 comes equipped with Mac Pherson Strut with coil spring for front suspension while the rear suspension is packed in the form of coupled torsion beam axle with coil spring. The steering for Hyundai i10 is power-based and feels quite smooth.
