Hero motorcycles over the years have been known for their fuel efficiency and the Glamour is no different The Advanced Swirl Flow Induction System technology employed by the Hero Glamour gives an improved mileage of 81 kmpl without any power loss by a combustion system that is more efficient. The higher variant also offers disc brake in front. The bike offers decent ride quality for rider and pillion. It has the right balance of cosmetic features and mechanical performance.

The Hero Glamour is powered by a four stroke single cylinder OHC engine that is air cooled. The displacement is 124.7 cc and it dishes out a respectable 10.35 Nm of torque @ 4,000 RPM and 9 bhp @ 7,000 rpm. The four speed transmission is configured well to perform optimally across the full rev range. The wheelbase provides adequate stability for the rides through the congested roads and it handles reasonably well in all conditions. The bike not only makes a style statement with its looks but also provides complete value for money.

It is a bike made for the upwardly mobile young executive and offers a comfortable seating position that is upright. The handlebar is well placed to provide adequate relief to the wrists during those long tiring rides in rush hour traffic. The suspension that is a combination of Telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and Swing Arm with Hydraulic Shock Absorbers at the rear takes care of most of the irregularities that feature on Indian roads.
