Features
The new Honda Brio features a host of cosmetic alterations and many new features. A bolder dual slat grille with the Honda logo and projector head lamps with LED daytime running lights along with rear wiper and washer are aspects usually present in cars in higher segments. Seen from the side, it remains very much the same except for the new 14 inch alloy wheels. The dashboard has also been upgraded and replaces the very plastic dash from the older version.
The Brio 2016 retains the same i-VTEC 1.2 litre four cylinder engine but it has now been fine tuned to deliver 88.7 bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque. There are two transmission options, the five speed manual and a new Earth Dreams Technology CVT. The fuel efficiency figures are around the 19 kmpl mark.
In the new Brio, Honda has introduced features like a touch screen audio video navigation unit, a new steering wheel and a new 2 DIN entertainment system. The overall quality of plastics is improved to give the car a plush feel. The automatic climate control with new HVAC control and digital display and faux silver surrounding the new dashboard comprising of piano black trim material and matte plastic also lift the standard of the car. The hatchback from Honda offers may features that make you feel like it is a car above the entry level segment.
