Features of Mahindra Jeeto

Mahindra Jeeto’s engine displacement is only 625 cc. The truck is meant to carry small goods across a city or between two cities at one stretch, and not a whole lot of power is required for the purpose. The 625 cc engine offers 11.9 bhp maximum power at 3,600 rpm and the torque is 38 Nm at 1,200 – 2,200 rpm. Although it’s a little figure, but considering the truck’s dimensions we have to say – it’s enough.

The transmission system used is a 5-speed manual unit with single plate dry clutch for effectively engaging gears. It’s a soft and easy to use clutch but the drivers may require some practice for fluid shifting of gears.

The truck is dirt cheap and at this price point, one shouldn’t expect to have air conditioning or anti-lock braking system. However, the steering is tilt-able to a comfortable angle. Also, disc brakes are used unlike some trucks in the similar pricing category.
