Features of TATA Tiago
The interiors are nothing like the older Tata cars have given in the past. Space is well complimented by sufficient equipment and good quality. Features like internally adjustable ORVM’s, folding rear seat and driver footrest are standard. Height adjustable seats with headrests and dual front airbags are on the mid and high models. EBD & ABS for better stability and control are only available on the top end model.
The Tiago is offered with petrol and diesel engines. The petrol motor is a 1.2 litre Revtron that provides 84 bhp and 114 Nm torque. The diesel engine is turbocharged and offers 70 bhp with 140 Nm torque. Both engines are front wheel drives and are mated to 5 speed manual gearboxes. There is a plan to launch an automatic variant as well in the future.
