Honda BR-V

Honda BR-V offers petrol and diesel options with manual transmission. However, one specific variant named Honda BR-V CVT offers an automatic transmission. Both options have 7-speed gears with front-wheel drive.

The petrol variant offers an engine displacement of 1497 cc with a power of 119 PS @ 6600 Rpm and a torque of 145 Nm @ 4600 Rpm. The diesel variant features a 1498 cc engine with a power of 100PS @3600 Rpm and a torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 Rpm.

Hyundai Creta  

Hyundai Creta has three variants in the ilk of one petrol option and two diesel options. It has a 6-speed manual/automatic transmission based on the variant with a front-wheel driveline.

The petrol engine is powered with 1591 cc displacement. It has a power of 123 PS @ 6400 Rpm and a torque of 151 Nm @4850 Rpm. The diesel one has a 1582 cc engine with a peak power of 128 PS@4000 Rpm and a max torque of 260Nm @ 1900-2750 Rpm.

Furthermore, another diesel variant of the Hyundai Creta features a 1396 cc engine with a power of 90 PS@4000 Rpm and a torque of 220 Nm@ 1500-2750 Rpm.

Mileage

Honda BR-V features a 42 ltr fuel tank with an ARAI-certified mileage of 15.4 km/ltr on the petrol variant while the only automatic variant of the petrol engine offers 16 km/ltr. The diesel variant offers 21.9 km/ltr on fuel.

Hyundai Creta sports a 55 ltr fuel tank with ARAI-certified mileage of 15.29 km/ltr for the petrol option. The mileage for the 1582 cc engine on the manual transmission is 19.67 km/ltr and for the automatic transmission is 17.01 km/ltr.

On the other hand, the 1396 cc diesel engine offers 21.38 km/ltr mileage.

Honda BR-V has McPherson strut coil spring as the front suspension and a torsion beam coil spring as the rear one. Its dimension is 4453mm x 1735mm x 1666 mm. It features a wheelbase of 2662 mm and a kerb weight of 1271 kg.

Hyundai Creta has McPherson Strut with coil spring for the front suspension and coupled torsion beam axle with coil spring for the rear suspension. The dimensions for Hyundai Creta is 4270mm x 1780mm x 1630mm. It has a wheelbase of 2590mm.

Honda BR-V supports seating capacity for 7 people in 3-seating rows with 5 doors. The boot space for Honda BR-V is 223 ltr.
